Thrift Store Donations

We gladly accept new or gently used, clean, and ready for re-sale donations. Thank you very much for supporting the Life Network Family Thrift Store!

Our regular donation acceptance hours are Monday – Saturday from 10am to 6pm. 

Donations can be dropped off at our store (5406 N Academy Blvd) at our donation drop-off door behind the store.
Ring the bell and an attendant will be with you shortly.

Need a Pickup?

Life Network Family Thrift Store is not equipped to pick up donations regularly. We recommend contacting local businessman Matt Attas, who picks up furniture and other large donations such as housewares from estate sales. The rate for this pickup runs at $100 / hr for two movers and the use of their truck. For more information and to book, call 719-290-5157.

 

Items We Take

  • Clothing: Men’s, Women’s, Children’s and Infants

  • Shoes: all ages

  • Accessories: jewelry, purses, hats, belts, scarves, and sunglasses

  • Housewares: kitchen items and small appliances 

  • Dishes, serving ware, glassware, pots & pans, utensils

  • Furniture in good condition: tables, dressers, couches, loveseats, chairs, etc.

  • Collectibles & antiques

  • Home décor: wall art, mirrors, knick-knacks, throw pillows, collectibles

  • Linens: bed linens, bath/hand towels, sheets, spreads/comforters, table linens

  • Backpacks and suitcases

  • Books: paperback, hardback and audio

  • CD’s, DVD’s

  • Toys, plush animals, puzzles and games

  • Sporting goods

Items We Don’t Take

  • cAny broken, stained or non-functional item
  • Car seats
  • Strollers
  • Cribs
  • Diaper genies
  • Large appliances or equipment

  • TV’s

  • Home remodeling items (ceiling lights and fans, window blinds, paneling etc.)

  • Construction materials (esp. chemicals or paint)

  • Mattresses

  • Bed pillows (unless brand new)

  • Large appliances (stoves, washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers etc.)

  • Chemicals or any flammable liquids (paint, propane canisters, oil etc.; also includes any tools with gasoline still inside)

  • Furniture that is worn, torn, covered with pet hair or has odors

  • Flooring (tiles, carpet, etc.)
  • Printers
  • Workout equipment (without prior approval)
  • Large office equipment
  • Ironing boards

We reserve the right to refuse any item.
